CHAMBERLAINS WORCESTER PORCELAIN WARWICK VASE CIRCA 1825.
Of classic Warwick vase form, decorated in the Imari pattern 298 reflecting the Regency fascination with Japanese- inspired design adapted to English porcelain, with a vibrant use of cobalt blue, iron red and exquisite gilded highlights. Distinguished by a gilded bud & leaf finial, twisted vine stem handles, a marbled liner and marbled square base, a beaded &gadrooned rim and a fruiting vine border encircling the body.
Bearing the boars head crest of the Baillie family of Dochfour Inverness & Hoperig, County Haddington. Initialed script JB. Full Chamberlains marks under.
