Description: A large Regency period Old Sheffield Plate silver serving dish with cover. Of round form the body with two cast foliate handles raised on four scrolled feet and with a screw cap to allow it to be filled with hot water. Retaining its original removable division, and its original cover with a fruit and leaf finial. Circa 1825.
