Painted in full colour with the arms of Paul Beilby Thompson (1784-1852) later 1st Baron Wenlock of Escrick Park, Yorkshire. The armorial is set within richly gilded neoclassical borders. Incised “B” to base. MP for Hedon and for Thirsk
