AN 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST OF SMALL PROPORTIONS. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1775.

Crossbanded throughout with rosewood. the serpentine top with a central oval panel with corner radials of satinwood & greenheart. Over the base with serpentine front and shaped sides with cut corners, inlaid with greenheart and box line stringing, and with four graduated drawers above a shaped apron. Retaining original brass swanneck handles and side carrying handles. The top drawer is fitted with a brushing slide and an arrangement of various lidded compartments & drawers. Excellent quality throughout.
