Of faceted oblong form, with a faceted domed hinged lid, raised on four ivory feet.
The interior lined in red velvet and fitted with two lidded compartments for tea.
Width: 8 in. (20.3 cm); Height: 4¾ in. (12 cm); Depth: 5 in. (12.7 cm).
The combination of tortoiseshell, ivory and silver mounts is characteristic of the refined Regency taste of the period.
